Zendicate Leads Investment in Relativity Networks
Orlando, FL – February 12, 2025 – Zendicate Ventures, an investment firm focused on hard-tech and high-growth startups, led the $4.6 million seed funding round in Relativity Networks - an American company revolutionizing fiber optics technology.
Relativity Networks designs and manufactures scalable Hollow Core Fiber (HCF) technology, replacing the glass traditionally found at the core of fiber cables with air to lower latency by nearly 50%. Lower latency reduces scalability challenges, especially for AI and hyperscalers; and allows data centers to be built further away from power-constrained areas without increasing transmission delays.
“Relativity Networks is led by an exceptional team working in an outstanding growth industry. We love this company and opportunity; and look forward to its potential to significantly impact and accelerate the Central Florida, American, and world-wide economy”, said Jonathan Taylor, Managing Partner of Zendicate.
This investment aligns with Zendicate’s strategy to back transformative, high-performance teams in industries delivering significant economic growth. Zendicate has led $10m in investments in Central Florida companies over the last 12 months and will be making additional significant investments in companies in and outside of Central Florida for decades to come.
Zendicate is managed by Ryan Campbell and Jonathan Taylor – two successful Silicon-Valley and Central-Florida entrepreneurs – to help founders with both seed funding and team fortification. As entrepreneurs they know startups are hard; success is even harder; and stress kills more startups than anything else. Zendicate strives to balance both investing funds (at seed) and imparting help (at times of need).
Ryan graduated from the University of Central Florida. Jonathan dropped out of school in 1990 to work at a startup.
